Requirements for the Washington Lamb of Merit
- Hot carcass weight: 55 – 85 pounds
- Adjusted 12th Rib Fat Thickness: 0.16 – 0.25
- Muscling: Leg Conformation Grade of High Choice or Better
- Yield Grade: 2.9 or lower
- Quality Grade: Low Choice through High Prime
- Average Daily Gain Minimum of 0.60 pounds per day.
